This is a view inside the shutter of the JML Optical 56mm F1.2 lens shutter. It is electronically controlled. There is a socket on the side of the shutter with seven pins and a connector plugged in with a short length of unterminated wire. These wires are the solenoid control and also connections for N.C. and N.O contacts (flash, etc). The diaphragm shaft controls how far the shutter blades actually open so the shutter blades themselves actually provide the diaphragm. The shutter blades can be manually locked open if desired. There are four threaded holes on the rear of the shutter for mounting.
